Aims

To inform delegates about the causes and treatments of toothwear

Objectives

At the end of the course the participants should;

  • Understand the options available for treating toothwear, with regards composite, and composite inlays
  • Understand the role that modern adhesive cements can play in the management of toothwear when using direct composite and/or onlays
  • Understand the use of a putty matrix and when to use it
  • Understand the role that dentine bonding agents play in the management of toothwear when using direct composite build-ups
  • Have restored teeth with composite to treat toothwear
