Description | This two day course has been developed for dental nurses to measure and record plaque indices, apply topical fluoride varnish and deliver OH messages to a range of patients. It is designed to provide the theoretical knowledge, underpinned with clinical competency and at the end of the course all delegates will reach a safe beginner level. |
Additional information | Applicants must be GDC registered. Attendance at both sessions are mandatory. The practical skills for this competency will be achieved through the support, training, advice, and observation from a GDC registered Dentist or Hygiene Therapist who will act as the Dental Nurse work-based clinical supervisor |
