Aims

To give delegates an overview of some of the current and controversial aspects of Oral Surgery affecting patients attending General Dental Practice.

Objectives

 By the end of the course delegates will be aware of:

  • Current management of patients prescribed anticoagulant medication
  • Current treatment regimens for patients prescribed bisphosphonate therapy
  • Current treatment regimens for patients with bleeding disorders
  • Coronectomy versus surgical removal of third molars
  • Management of extractions with implants in mind
