Aims

To facilitate effective working relationships between Dental nurses and Foundation dentists during the dental foundation training year

Objectives

· Examine the foundation year training and describe their specific involvement within the scope of practice when supporting the FD

· Explore the importance of early engagement and discuss the key factors

· Discover how to respond effectively to difficult situations and demonstrate how to provide feedback to empower autonomous reflective learning
