To give delegates an overview and practical experience in routine Oral Surgery procedures.

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Assess the difficulty of tooth extraction, select those for referral
  • Be able to extract teeth on Prometheus phantom heads with the correct technique
  • Be aware of the complications of tooth extraction
  • Be able to recognise and know how to manage dental infections
