Aims

This one day theoretical and clinical hands-on course will cover clinical management of patients with established periodontal disease.

Care and Maintenance of Dental Implants.

Objectives
  • Formulate a care pathway for periodontal patients, discuss the clinical management of codes 3 and 4 and when to refer
  • Recognise the importance of personalised bio feedback in the behaviour change model
  • Refresh knowledge of the 2017 perio classification, current perio guidelines and apply diagnosis and treatment planning
Learning outcomes

By the end of the session delegates will be able to: Apply knowledge and understanding to the management of periodontal disease and return to practice with increased confidence.
