DescriptionThis popular all-day course covers the aetiology and management of all types of tooth wear, from diagnosis and prevention through monitoring and management. Techniques for intervention use the latest range of adhesive aesthetic materials as well as traditional methods.
Additional information

Hands-on sessions include tooth build-ups with a range of direct and indirect techniques. Teaching covers the management of sensitivity, aesthetics and function as well as occlusal change in vertical and horizontal dimensions. Splint therapy is discussed. Part seminar with a lot of hands-on including treatment of a severe case (on models).

To cover the management of tooth wear in practice, correct related occlusal, functional and aesthetic problems.

Objectives

Delegates will be able to carry out appropriate interventions including prevention and restoration using adhesive techniques to restore worn teeth, both for localised wear on anterior and posterior teeth, also generalised wear. Be able to manage bruxism and tooth clenching.
