Aims | To discuss how we manage challenging behaviours in practice, and how to recognise factors that lead to difficulties accepting dental care |
Objectives | This course will cover physical, behavioural and cognitive needs that may affect a patient’s ability to accept dental treatment. Present methods of behavioural management and progressive desensitisation to aid patient’s ability to accept treatment. To discuss individual Trust policies on behaviour management. |
