Aims | An update on direct restorative materials for posterior teeth with modern bulk fill composites. Root canal management of anterior teeth using rotary instrumentations and thermoplastic obturation. |
Objectives | Understand the key factors that impact on the success of posterior composite restorations Understand how to effectively clean and shape the root canal systems and be able to use rotary instruments. To practice obturating root canals with an apical plug and thermoplastic gutta percha. |
Learning outcomes | After this course, delegates will be able to: Place composite restorations using modern techniques including the use of a sectional matrix. Clean and shape simple root canal systems using rotary instruments. Obturate open apices with bioceramic materials and thermoplastic gutta percha. |
