Aims

To provide a deeper understanding of occlusion, and the causes, intervention options and management of tooth wear.

Objectives

To teach dentists how to correct occlusal problems due to tooth surface loss, restoring function and aesthetics while protecting the teeth

To provide education on tooth wear diagnosis and intervention options from monitoring and prevention to intervention

To discuss when splints are appropriate in the management of tooth wear and the impact these can have on the occlusion.
