Objectives | - By the end of the presentations the delegates will have an understanding of relevant, current Radiation Regulations affecting dentistry (IRMER2018 and IRR2017)
- Delegates will be able to appraise the `whole imaging pathway` to ensure it is robust in preventing system errors that result in adverse events and poor quality imaging, taking into account human factors.
- Delegates will know common errors that can degrade `digital` images, and how to utilise QA in order to prevent this.
- Delegates will be able to systematically appraise dental images to ensure maximal diagnostic yield from their images. They will recognise aggressive / malignant lesions and when to refer on for specialist help for diagnosis and treatment.
