Aims

To understand the requirements for comprehensive, accurate and detailed clinical dental note taking, as required by the General Dental Council

 By the end of the course delegates will have a better understanding of Medico-legal clinical recording of:

  • Early caries diagnosis
  • Recording of pain
  • Recording of tooth surface loss (TSL)
  • Periodontal status recording
  • Recording of the justification and outcomes of dental radiographs
  • Recording of valid consent
