Aims

To give an update on selection criteria, current techniques and interpretation of images, including the use of cone-beam CT in children

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will:

  • Know the various imaging techniques available for paediatric patients and their indications
  • Be able to Interpret these views
  • Be able to ensure optimal diagnostic value for extra-oral and intra-oral views
  • Understand the principles of CBCT, the variation in machines/dosage and the indications for its use in paedodontics
