Periodontics

To appreciate the scope of periodontology and general practice.

NHSBSA

Nick works in the NHSBSA and will be discussing what constitutes a course of treatment and how the NHSBSA deals with claims in general.

Objectives

Periodontics

Recognition of disease and knowing how and when to treat - and when to refer.

NHSBSA

The FD will be able to:

Understand the role and work of the NHSBSA

Define a course of treatment for a patient

Understand the claim system including sending paper and online documentation to the NHSBSA.

Understand some of the difficulties of the claims system.
