Aims

Have an understanding of the role of I V sedation
Understand about anxious patients and selection for IV sedation
learn how to keep patients safe during IV sedation
Learn IV sedation technique including /having practical experience of canulation (dentists only)
Learn about sedation related complications, equipment and emergency drugs
Nurses will learn about patient monitoring ,written advice ,records and post-operative supervision.
