To provide a greater understanding of assessment and treatment planning

To give a practical guide to surveying and denture design

To provide an overview of current clinical techniques in removable partial dentures, including the use of fixed/removable prostheses, simple attachments and implants to improve success.

To discuss clinical cases presented by participants.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Assess a patient and form a treatment plan for partial denture provision

Able to survey and design an appropriate prosthesis

Have a general understanding of fixed/removable, attachment and implant assisted partial dentures

Communicate effectively with the dental technician
