Aims

This one day course will strengthen Therapist skills in the principles of evidenced based prevention and minimal intervention of caries removal.

Objectives
  • Refresh knowledge of the clinical management of caries following the principles of minimal intervention
  • Update prevention of caries by utilizing caries risk assessment model
  • Complete practical activities on MOOGS/ 3D TEETH and models for removing caries , following the principles of prevention and minimal intervention.
  • Update on dental materials for sealing and bonding techniques for longevity of restorations
Learning outcomes

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • Apply knowledge and understanding to minimal intervention of managing caries.
  • Demonstrate skills in preparing teeth using minimal interventions.
  • Return to Practice with increased confidence and enhanced competence.
