Aims

To build on knowledge of paediatric dental and behaviour management.

Objectives
  • To discuss the challenges of treating children and adolescents in dental practice and identify the roles played by the different members of the dental team
  • To explore behaviour management techniques and their application in a busy practice
  • To discuss issues and conditions which may predispose to challenging behaviour in a young patient
