DescriptionThis one day course will introduce dental professionals to the ‘person centred approach’ style of mentoring. The mentoring skills explored will inform and help the communication skills of delegates in their interactions with patients and colleagues. The course is modelled on the “Certificate course in Mentoring” taught by the Faculty of General Dental Practice and is promoted as a taster day for this course.

Aims

To provide the delegate with an overview of mentoring, with practical tips on how to use mentoring in general dental practice.

Objectives
