  • To build on/consolidate the 5 e-learning courses already studied.
  • To provide opportunity to meet and discuss issues around supervising trainee dentists with peers
  • To apply e-learning to ‘real life’ credible scenarios
  • To develop problem solving skills
  • To integrate learning and use all frameworks
Objectives
  • Review the e-learning module material
  • Workplace Based Assessment scenario viewing
  • Acknowledge different working styles by questionnaire
  • Discuss case studies and supporting information
  • Identification of additional information/evidence and how it could be obtained
  • Plan and prepare for feedback with trainees with question framing, engagement and target setting/assessment
  • Evolving judgement on the process i.e. educational or disciplinary and routes to resolution
  • Produce an effective PDP to address the issues
  • Practice appraisal skills
