Aims

To update members of the dental team on recent developments in contemporary dental materials discussing both indirect and direct dental materials.

Objectives

At the end of the lecture delegates will:

  • Be aware of science behind recent developments in composite restorative materials and bonding agents
  • Have an understanding of the different ceramic materials available and their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Have an insight into recent developments into digital scanning and computerised fabrication of dental restorations
