| Aims | Prof Marsh will describe how the application of microbial ecological concepts can explain how dental disease develops from what should be a beneficial natural oral microflora, and how this understanding can lead to new approaches to control caries and periodontal diseases. Prof Marsh will conclude with a description of studies of contaminated dental unit water lines and the identification of effective treatments. |
