Description | It is not intended for Experienced Trainers. This course is only open to prospective GP Trainers who have been accepted onto the trainer pathway. This is one of the mandatory courses that need to be completed. Teaching the consultation: This course will give guidance on how to teach the consultation to a GP trainee and how to use the toolkit resource that is available to all trainers. Trainees in Difficulty: This course will give you an understanding of the difficulties that some trainees may experience whilst undertaking GP Training. The course will help you spot the signs that a trainee may be struggling, outline how to document these concerns and will discuss the help and support available to you. | ||
Additional information | FOR GP PROSPECTIVE TRAINERS ONLY This workshop will look at the most common difficulties trainees experience, and practice using some of the tools we have available to identify specific issues. We will look at how we can use ePortfolio to evidence concerns appropriately. We will also discuss the role of the performance team in supporting trainers and trainees. The workshop will be interactive, with time to share experiences and discuss any issues together.
