Description

The day will consist of two half-day modules, attendees may attend one or both modules depending on their training needs. It is recommended that new supervisors attend both modules as part of their accreditation. The first module has a specific focus on the new 2022 curricula, and will be of particular value to new and experienced clinical supervisors, the second module is a problem solving workshop session, and will be of particular value to new and experienced educational supervisors. Module 1 (morning session): trainer roles and responsibilities, the organisation of postgraduate medical education, psychiatry curricula, psychiatry WPBAs, differential attainment, assessment forms and ARCPs Module 2 (afternoon session): the process of psychiatric and educational supervision, flexible and less than full time working, out of programme experience and SuppoRTT, international medical graduates, managing trainees in difficulty, and CPD for educators. Each module is worth 3 CPD points. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day, and lunch will be available to delegates staying for both modules.

Additional information

There is no parking on site at Blenheim House, but the West Street car park is just across the road (Wellington St, Leeds LS1 4PD). If you have any mobility issues, please let us know and we can look into the possibility of getting a space on site, but we will not be able to confirm the availability of a space until the week of the session.
