Description | This course will benefit anyone who interacts with trainees, supervisors and mentors and those who arrange online learning sessions for trainees, where formerly peer discussion face to face was an important motivator. |

Aims | • Help all those who organise sessions for trainees and students to try out approaches to make virtual teaching and feedback engaging for learners. |
Objectives | • The course will demonstrate effective use of key features in the virtual teaching environment: activating prior learning, breakout rooms, reactions and polling, pre- course quizzes with Socrative, in course collaborative software such as padlet and feedback using the chat function. |
Learning outcomes | • Give and receive effective feedback, within a balanced framework • Activate prior learning and promote a growth mindset in learners • Deliver engaging learning sessions which maximise interaction and thus engagement for learners |
