DescriptionDo you know how much health and social care data is publicly available and easy to access? This workshop will showcase a wealth of information about the health of your local population. As part of the session you can access this data and start to use it to support improvement projects in your current setting and beyond the FLP year. By understanding the needs of your local population, improvement work can be targeted in areas that will make the greatest impact to patients, staff and the wider population. Population health data that will inform your next quality improvement project is just a few clicks away.
Additional information

Preparation required:

1) Please think about what your area of interest is. This could be the area that you usually work in, the focus of your current FLP project, or another specific area you are passionate about.

For example, would it be useful to know more about cancer services, maternal health, preventative sight loss, access to primary care services?

Together we will unpick the population health challenges relevant to your local situation.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a specific area of interest - you can also play the role of a patient (or carer) accessing care, and see what information is available on the services you may use now or in the future.

2) It would be much appreciated if you could please complete the following Google form before the session.
