DescriptionThis is a 2 day course which will cover clinical negligence, regulatory requirements and employment law. This programme can be accessed by those commencing a formal or informal teaching role, from ST3 onwards, SAS doctors and consultant grades. Day 1: Introduction to key employment law concepts and Duty of Candour. Day 2: Negligence claims; Record keeping and statements; Confidentiality and Consent/Capacity.
Additional information

It is mandatory to attend both days of this course on the same programme. You cannot attend Day 2 if you have missed Day 1. 

Two full-day presentations with group exercises and participation. Usually one speaker on day 1 and one or two speakers on day 2.
