DescriptionFollowing a fantastic partial denture course earlier this year, Rob Jagger is returning to Somerset to discuss complete dentures. This will be an informal course with plenty of opportunity for discussion. All members of the dental team are welcome - this course is particularly suited to dentists and clinical dental technicians.

This is the first of two courses -  lunch will be provided for those staying for Occlusal Splints - use and abuse, in the afternoon.

Aims

This course presents ways to provide optimum treatment for edentulous patients.  It provides an opportunity to discuss problems and solutions related to complete denture prosthetics.

Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will:

1. Understand good practice in the assessment of edentulous patients.

2. Understand what is needed to achieve success when treatment edentulous patients.

3. Understand the use of special techniques used to manage difficult patients.

Participants will be more comfortable assessing edentulous patients and using evidence based techniques to provide complete dentures.
