Aims | Aim - For all delegates to be able to safeguard vulnerable adults at risk of abuse and to apply the MCA to practice. | ||
Objectives | By the end of the course delegates should be able to: - understand the aims and six key principles of safeguarding according to the Care Act (2015) - discuss the broadening of the categories of abuse and how it applies to practice - participate in safeguarding scenarios and analyse appropriate response - understand the principles of the MCA - to feel confident in completing and MCA assessment
Learning Objective: Delegates will be able to formulate a pratice policy for delivering safer care for their vulnerable adult patients. | ||
