DescriptionAs social media is becoming such a huge part of everyday life, this course aims to discuss the benefits and potential pitfalls of using social media within the dental profession, whether used as a practice advertising tool, or used by members of the profession individually. We will look at real scenarios when social media has caused difficulties and have the opportunity for Q & As with Joe Ingham. This course will satisfy part of the GDC recommended Law and Ethics topic.

Our speaker for this course is Joseph Ingham BDS, Dento-Legal Adviser with Dental Protection.

Joe graduated for the London hospital in 1983. He has 29 years experience of mainly NHS practice as well as being a practice advisor for Berkshire for 8 years. Joe is also a tutor at the School of Hygiene and Therapy at the Eastman Dental Hospital and has been a full time Dento-Legal Advisor since 2010.
