DescriptionWhat has dentistry got do with domestic violence? The Dental profession has a particular contribution to make because it is one of the services with which victims of domestic violence may come into contact. There will be many dentists who have seen patients whom they suspect are being abused at home but who have not known what to do about it. It can seem daunting to raise the question with the patient but all research done with survivors identifies that they very much want someone to ask them about what was happening at home and to be given a chance to talk about it.
