DescriptionImpression Taking for DCP's - Title Impression taking for DCP's Description Additional skills dental nurse Training - Impression taking course for DCP's DCP's attending this part of the course will be required to attend an OSCE day 6 weeks later (31st May 2014) - only those attending the 1st part of the course will be able to attend the OSCE 2. check prescriptions for patient for impression 3. prepare the surgery and patient for impression taking and bite registration 4. select and prepare materials to be used for the taking of dental impressions 5. use a safe technique to take accurate impressions of the patients jaws and register the bite to an appropriate standard 6. Be able to manage any complications that might occur during the procedure 7. ensure continuity of care for the patients
Additional information

this is a 2 part course the students will be required to attend  on saturday 5th april 2013   for an OSCE which will assess their competency.
