To provide an overview of head and neck cancer, its contemporary management, the patient’s journey and the role of restorative specialist care and primary dental care

To appreciate the aetiology and presentation of head and neck cancers

-To understand how to refer a patient with a suspicious lesion and how the referral pathway works

- To understand the patient journey from diagnosis to long term follow up and the multi-disciplinary team involved in their management

- To understand the early and long term sequalae of head and neck cancers

- To understand their role in managing such patients
