In order to assist dental professionals in bidding for available dental contracts, a series of Dental Procurement Awareness events are to be held.

The first of these events is to be held in Lancashire on 24 April 2017 at Preston Marriott Hotel (PR3 5JB) from 4pm until 8pm and will be facilitated by North of England Commissioning Support (NECS).

NECS is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage the registration for this event and communicate with organisations. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and all communications with NECS will be conducted via the portal https://www.proactisplaza.com/SupplierPortal/?CID=NECS hosted by (Proactis) the managed service provider for the NECS electronic tendering system.

• The procurement process
• Bid writing session
• Procurement and Evaluation Support regarding information governance, finance, mobilisation and business continuity (table discussions)
