Aims

This program aims to:

  • Explore the theoretical framework for assessing partial edentulous patients and the various techniques and materials involved in complete denture construction.
  • Offer hands-on experience in both primary and secondary impression procedures as well as denture design.
Objectives
  • Identify structured techniques for assessing an partial edentulous patient.
  • Recognise how to select appropriate techniques and materials.
  • Obtain practical, hands-on experience by working with phantom heads to practice and master the application of these techniques and materials.
Learning outcomes

By the end of the course the attendees will have greater confidence in assessing the partial edentulous patient, along with improved knowledge on selecting and delivering appropriate techniques using a variety of materials.
