[GDC 67233] Dr Ashley qualified with BDS in Manchester in 1991 and completed his PhD in Caries Diagnosis in 1997 at the same university. He has been working at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute since 1998 where he now runs the Professional Doctorate in Paediatric Dentistry.He is Programme Director for the DDent in Paediatric Dentistry and Programme Coordinator for the MSc in Paediatric Dentistry. Other teaching duties have included local and national FDS and MFDS courses, development of education material for dental therapist training, teaching and examining dental nurses and invited lectures within the UK and overseas.

Dr Susan Parekh [GDC 68874] is a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry. She is Programme Coordinator for the DDent in Paediatric Dentistry and Programme Director for the PG Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute
Susan also has a PhD in Dental Age Assessment of children and young adults. Other interests include diagnosis and management of dental anomalies (and role of genetics) and pain relief for child patients.
