DescriptionAll members of the dental team must have a sound understanding of the theory behind dental radiography this THEORY course meets the annual GDC requirements for CPD in dental radiography.
Additional informationINTENDED AUDIENCE: The course is intended for DCPs. It is a non IR(ME)R course and is not intended for Dentists.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Nikki teaches DCPs at Bristol Dental Hospital delivering pre and post registration training.

She holds the post registration qualifications in Oral health Education, Dental Sedation and Radiography along with teaching, assessment and management qualifications.

Nikki is currently Chairperson of the NEBDN Dental Radiography Committee, and a member of the NEBDN panel of examiners.

She is also the author of The Basic Guide to Dental Sedation Nursing and is currently working on various other books to advance the knowledge and skills of DCPs.

  3. Be aware of the importance of quality assurance programmes and quality assurance procedures
  4. Recognise film faults and know how to prevent them
