DescriptionThis course is intended as an update in Oral Lesions/Detection. A great half days lecture in Oral Medication by Dr Caroline Pankhurst. The course will include the understanding of screening for pre-malignant and malignant lesions and criteria for referral.. A great opportunity to have an overview of common oral medicine conditions found in dental practices. List the risk factors of oral cancer and identify the patients at increased risk,so as to provide patients with personally tailored advice on their oral health status and the transfer of responsibility for patient self care.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Dr Caroline Pankhurst is a dentist and formerly a Senior Dental Lecturer at Kings College London Dental Institute. Now she is actively involved in Postgraduate dental education and training. She’s an infection control consultant for Lambeth, Southwick and Lewisham PCT’s. She is author of Control of infection guidelines for general dental practices, now in it’s 3rd edition.
