The aim of the lecture is to describe how commonly presenting medical conditions affect the delivery of dental care, and suggest appropriate management strategies

By the end of the session the objective is to be able to describe

  • Which medical conditions may influence the planning and delivery of dental care
  • How patient medication can affect dental treatment
  • Safe and effective management strategies for patient with complex medical histories
