Aims

To revise and improve knowledge of assessment of patients for minor oral surgery. To learn techniques for treating suitable cases in practice.

Objectives
  • Know when surgery should be attempted in practice and when it may be wise to refer
  • Using radiographs to assess complexity of surgery
  • Basic principals of flap design, methods of bone removal and principals of elevation
