To describe the examination and diagnosis of a patient with facial deformity

To describe current knowledge in the treatment of facial deformity

To describe the psychological impact that facial deformity can have on a patient

To examine current concepts in the management of facial deformity in children and adults

To explain the range of approaches and techniques used in orthognathic surgery
