Aims | Finance part 1 - To learn about the role of an accountant and what type of taxation applies to the FD. To understand more about your pay slip and how your annual tax bill is calculated.
Dental emergencies - To develop an understanding of the types of dental emergencies common in General Dental Practice and the management of these emergencies. |
Objectives | Finance - By the end of this session you will know the basics of calculating your annual tax bill. Understand how PAYE works and how best to manage your student loan.
Dental emergencies - To understand the types of dental emergencies that present in GDP. To be able to manage these dental emergencies. To be able to assess referral/follow up requirements. To understand the role of pharmacology in the management of some dental emergencies To be able to write an appropriate prescription where necessary. |
