To offer an insight into the everyday experience of dementia by exploring the signs, symptoms and potential impact of the disease

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Explain what dementia is, including the signs and symptoms of dementia.
  • Recognise the possible physical and mental experience of people living with dementia
  • Identify local services which could support the person living with dementia
