Aims | To understand occlusion and the implications for General Practice. |
Objectives | To be able to assess occlusion. To understand the principles of occlusion. To understand the basis for establishing a sound physiological and mechanical occlusion. To understand canine guidance. To understand group function. To understand the implications of occlusion for restorative dentistry. To be able to recognise cases where occlusion will have a significant effect on treatment outcomes. Increasing OVD - when and how To recognise the situations where splint therapy may be required. To recognise cases where specialist advice /treatment planning is advisable. |
