This course will improve understanding of the evidence base and rationale for community water fluoridation

Objectives

To highlight the need for continued prevention of dental disease

To increase awareness of the evidence base underpinning fluoridation

To improve understanding of recent legislation changes in connection with fluoridation and the opportunities for ICBs to improve population health and reduce health inequalities.

Learning outcomes

Understand the importance of preventing dental disease in line with current legislation.

Update their knowledge on the scientific evidence base for fluoridation.
