This is a study day aimed at DFT’s, StR’s and Consultants. The morning session will encompass three lectures covering Dental trauma in the primary and permenant dentition, with possible sequale affecting restorative treatment & management. The afternoon session will have mock ISFE vivas to for the fellowship exit exam.

Aims

To have an overview on the diagnosis and management of dental trauma affecting the primary and permenant dentition

Objectives
  • To be able to diagnose different types of dento-alveolar injuries
  • To be familiar with current recommended techniques for the management of dental trauma

  • To be familiar with the possible sequale resulting from dental alveolar injuries
  • To have an understanding on long term management of traumatised dentition & its impact on prosthetic replacement
